Ian is an executive and creative producer, as well as an award-winning writer, with a sharp eye for storytelling and a deep understanding of production from the ground up.

Many of the stories we love that are set in the Northeast are actually filmed abroad. While there are plenty of reasons for this, we believe there’s a better way—and we’re here to change that.

We founded HLE in 2024 to address the lack of authenticity in stories reflecting the beauty of the Northeast. This area is home to an incredible (yet often-overlooked) talent pool, some of the most breathtaking natural landscapes, captivating cities, and picturesque towns.

That’s why we’re committed to bringing production—and creative jobs—back to U.S. soil. With over 30 years of combined industry experience, our team is building a creative + production hub just outside of NYC, set to serve the Hudson Valley, New England, and beyond. We’re focused on telling genuine stories, in the real locations where they’re meant to be told.
